Dr. Ali Nizamuddin, professor of political science at the University of Illinois at Springfield will speak at Unity Church on Jan. 20, noon to 1 p.m. The public is invited to the talk on the comparative cultures and beliefs of Islam, Shariah and Jihad. Originally form India, Nizamuddin specializes in international relations with research interests in international trade, globalization and the role of multinational corporations in the developing world. He has had articles published in Encyclopedia of International Political Economy and the International Social Science Review. He will also answer questions.
