Take a ride into the past at the Prairie Land Heritage Museum Steam and Fall Festival Days featuring Massey Harris and Massey Ferguson tractors and equipment and other horse-powered equipment, antique tractors, and gas and steam engines. Watch period demonstrations on baling, blacksmithing, threshing and more. Shop the large flea and craft market, ride a train, watch the parade at 3 p.m. and more. Ham and beans are served each day at noon. Don’t miss the dedication of the Historic 1878 Jacksonville Bandstand Sept. 24 at 10 a.m., as the structure returns to Jacksonville from the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Music from three centuries runs from 9:15 to 10:45 a.m.
