Bob Feferman, Midwest Coordinator for United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) will be in Springfield to talk to a number of civic organizations and the Jewish community about the threat that America and its allies would face from a nuclear armed Iran. He will also talk about UANI and the current status of its campaigns and what individuals can do to peacefully prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
UANI promotes an economic boycott of Iran through legislative initiatives at the state and Federal level, and by 'naming and shaming' global companies that continue to do business with Iran. Thursday, Jan. 24 - VFW Post 755 at 2211 Old Jacksonville Rd.
