My husband and I had lunch at Nevo's Corner. I would not recommend it if you are on a low salt diet. They do not tell you they are salting everything, WAY TOO MUCH! They should have a sign hanging were people can see it and it should say, "Unless otherwise requested, we will salt the heck out of your food".
To top it all off, I ordered fries with cheese sauce. Horrible. Absolutely horrible! I do not know how they made that cheese sauce, but I would not call it cheese sauce. Did not taste like cheese sauce and did not really look like it either. It was extremely runny and just had the nastiest taste ever. AND, to top it all off, they did not tell me they only serve seasoned fries. Again, with the salt and other stuff that I can do without. I had to pay a lot of money for salty tenderloin, crappy cheese sauce and seasoned fries. I tried to eat the tenderloin, could not get it all down, left the fries and the cheese sauce.
Not everyone likes seasoned fries. Let people know or stock both kinds, seasoned and unseasoned. AND, FOR PETE'S SAKE, leave the salting to the people.
AND, due to the amount of salt I was served, I needed to drink a lot of tea. Guess what, those little tiny styrofoam cups just do not cut it. Four gulps and that is it.
We will not be stopping ant Nevo's Corner any more. It costs us $14.00 for a lunch we could hardly get down. Waste of money. Bet he does not run his bar that way!
