Harmony Deep

art10289

With a combined musical experience of more than 75 years, Harmony Deep truly brings a deep and lasting sense of melody and harmony to all performances. Former Oohs Brian Curtis (vocals, keyboards) and Brian Cutright (vocals, bass), plus Sam Draper (vocals, guitar) of Royal Pain, each bring at least a quarter of a century of playing music as a profound and integral part of life to each and every gig. The trio of singers blends voices, seemingly effortlessly using soft rock, pop classics and familiar radio hits of the past in a semi-acoustic instrumental setting to display the nearly lost art of true harmony performed live without electronic aids. They play frequently around town with upcoming gigs at Mowie’s Cue, Lime Street, Trading Post and other venues, plus a Bud Tent show at the Illinois State Fair on Aug. 19. This Monday in a special fundraising event the Blue Grouch folks are donating all the proceeds made from 5 to 8 to the Toys for Tots charity with Wes Barr as celebrity bartender
