Lyman Elleman

Riverton native and now Nashville resident Lyman Ellerman pays his hometown a visit this weekend with shows at the Illinois State Fair on Friday and Saturday in The Shed venue plus a late-night Saturday gig in Riverton. Ellerman played in many bands around the area before making the career move to relocate to Nashville nearly 10 years ago to concentrate full time on becoming a working musician and songwriter. Music City USA has been good to Lyman, giving him plenty of talented folks to work with and opportunities to better his career in music and to plain better his music. Like a true-blue musician, Ellerman keeps playing away and writing songs, getting more cuts all the time while picking with top-notch Nashville cats, developing his own blend of Midwest Southern Rocking Country. Now working with lead guitarist Jason Morgan from Sale Creek, Tenn., in a project he calls The Nashville Salvation Band, the group recently released Get Loose, produced by Lyman and Jason for Woodshed Resistance Records.
