Josh Catalano and The Dirty Thoughts

Josh Catalano and The Dirty Thoughts

A stalwart on the local music scene in performing, writing and recording original, rocking American music, Josh Catalano (guitar, vocals, songwriting) formed The Dirty Thoughts in 2011 with former Damnwell Betters bandmates Patrick Miller (drums) and Jordan Laier (guitar, keys, pedal steel, vocals), then added Keith Voegele (bass, vocals) of the nationally renowned St. Louis-based group, the Bottle Rockets. The quartet quickly developed a strong area following with rocking live performances at city venues including a recent Bedrock 66 Live! show at the Hoogland. JC and the DTs hit the famed Martyrs’ nightclub in Chicago last January and garnered radio airplay rotation on Windy City and New York City stations in 2013. Started at Waterfront Recording Studios in December of 2011 by “just doing a couple of songs,” they now present the all new, full length album, Give Away the Night. Josh and the boys say they are “making American music with a kick-ass band” that “will not only fill you with dirty thoughts but make you long for them.”
