Harris trial juror saw TV coverage...in the jury's waiting room
A prospective juror in the murder trial of Christopher Harris dropped a miniature bombshell this afternoon.
With just eight jurors chosen since selection began on Tuesday and none chosen on Friday as of 2:40 p.m., proceedings have gone slower than expected.
Christopher Harris, 34, is charged with using a tire iron to murder Raymond "Rick" Gee, his wife Ruth Gee and three of the couple's children, Justina Constant, 16, Dillen Constant, 14, and Austin Gee, 11. Tabitha Gee, 3, was critically injured from a tire iron blow to her head but survived the attack, which occurred in the Gee home in Beason in the early hours of Sept. 21, 2009. Harris claims self defense and says that Dillen Constant attacked his own family and that he killed Constant after dropping by the home.
