The Brothers

The Brothers do the Allman Brothers music and do it well. Unlike other tribute bands, they have actual experiences of working with the group they celebrate, as some of the “brothers” actually played with Gregg Allman in the day, and more recently with his son, Devon. Headed by Danny Liston (founder of the legendary 1970s St. Louis band, Mama’s Pride, signed to Atlantic Records in 1975 by the one and only Ahmet  Ertugen), The Brothers, with Steve Pecaro, Dickie Steltenpohl, Harold Draper, Steve Bunck and Mark Kersten, plus newest members Mark Lee Arbogast and Don Drewett, create a stellar group of veteran musicians uniquely prepared for the task at hand.  These guys don’t just play the songs of the Allman Brothers, but also delve into the music foundations while exploring the emotions of one of the greatest rock and blues ensembles ever. Opening the night is our very own The Station, that coincidentally recorded their debut CD in the basement of one of the guitar players in The Brothers. How cool is that!
