Love this comic in Illinois Times! Homage to all my brothers and sisters in poetry and prose out there who continue to craft in the art, even though the art pays out infrequently, if at all. I read a book once that offered ways a poet could make a living at writing poetry. The book is How to Make a Living as a Poet, by Garry Mex Glazne. After reading it, I’m still not making a living writing poetry. But Glazne’s ideas sparked new ideas and thoughts on presenting poetry to the public.
