Micky and the Motorcars

Micky and the Motorcars

If you’re familiar with Midwest music clubs, then you’ve heard of Mojo’s in Columbia, Mo., Knucklehead’s in Kansas City and Off Broadway in St. Louis, the other venues Micky and the Motorcars play during a roll through the prairie. That says volumes about these guys and the alt/country, roots-rocking world they move around in. Band members Micky Braun (acoustic guitar, lead vocals), Gary Braun (lead and harmony vocals, guitars, mandolin, harmonica), Dustin Schafer (lead guitar), Joe Fladger (bass) and Bobby Paugh (drums and percussion) hail from Austin, Texas by way of Idaho with industry representation based in Nashville, Tenn. Micky and Gary are the younger brothers of Willy and Cody from the band Reckless Kelly and together they are part of the Smith Music Group with Cross Canadian Ragweed, Mike McClure and Jason Boland and the Stragglers. So if you’ve heard of and appreciate the venues or the groups, Micky and the Motorcars are in your music wheelhouse, primed and ready to rock the country house.
