Ready for a shot of good music that will knock you for a loop like a good blast of decent whiskey? Welcome the high-energy sounds of Whiskey Medicine to the Springfield scene as band mates Heather Mundhenke, Mike Webb, Tim Bahn, Kevin Mundhenke, Eric Tinsley and Brian Earleywine bring a blend of established musicians all with vocal abilities, to create a group bound by years of experience and imbibed with incredible energy. Armed with the motto, “We pour it out, you drink it up,” they come ready to play with an interesting and varied set-list, doing hot country and cool rock, from new songs to the classics by popular artists such as Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Blackberry Smoke, Adele, Peter Frampton, Johnny Cash and Heart. Local fans will be familiar with the bands these musicians were associated with including City Limits, Twang Gang, Gold Rush, Juke House and Groove Daddies. Working with the same goal in mind, “to play good music and have fun” as those successful groups maintained, Whiskey Medicine is here and ready to play.
