If you are a Deadhead, that is a fan of all things Grateful Dead related, this is a show for you. With more than 50 Dead songs in the repertoire, along with a few additions from the Jerry Garcia Band, Sunshine Daydream does the music justice with passion and respect. Area musicians Casey Cantrall (bass, vocals), Kyle Cottingham (drums), Chris Jensen (guitar, vocals), Andy Hoff (guitar, vocals) and Michael Tasch (keyboards) take the time to rehearse, with the proof in spectacular renditions of complicated tunes such as Terrapin Station and Help on the Way/Slipknot. The intricate interplay between the original Dead members combined with the improvisational spirit that took them to wild and wonderful places is alive and well in the music and energy of Sunshine Daydream. Expect a fun and spirited two sets worth of heartfelt interpretation involving the best of the Grateful Dead experience. And yes, that includes plenty of space for dancing, spinning, twirling and other forms of Dead-induced actions.
