Tom Keifer

Best known as the voice of blues-rock band Cinderella, famed for such cuts as “Nobody’s Fool” and “Don’t Know What You Got,” Tom Keifer began working on his solo album right after the band broke up in the 90s. Then, told he would never sing again due to a paralyzed left vocal chord, the talented multi-instrumentalist and songwriter struggled for years to regain his voice. From the difficulties came songs and by 2003 he began recording the tunes only to find other barriers that held up the release for 10 years. In April of 2013, out came “The Way Life Goes” on Merovee Records, co-produced by Keifer’s pal, engineer and producer Chuck Turner. Three singles off the new record, “Cold Day in Hell,” “Solid Ground” and “The Flower Song” are reaching a new audience, as well as satisfying old fans. Keifer blends organic, raw acoustic sounds with hard rocking blues riffs accompanied by intense and authentic lyrics to create a populist and listenable record that reaches your brain, your heart and your dancing feet.
