Madness and humor

Shakespeare’s classic play Hamlet comes to the Hoogland Center for the Arts. What’s great about this performance is that local actress Aasne Vigesaa is playing the role of Hamlet. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark, but Springfield is coming up roses with Vigesaa taking the lead. Vigesaa’s talent is sure to make this show spellbinding. Directed by James Daniels, the cast also includes James Daniels as Claudius, Susan Jeffers as Gertrude, Harvey Mack as Polonius, Hannah Hogan as Ophelia, Geoff Leathers as Laertes, Jeremy Goeckner as Horatio, Ted Keylon as Osric, Mike Gibler as the Gravedigger, Keegan Otwell as Rosencrantz, Blake Barnes as Guildenstern, Don Scheider as the Player King, Linda Schneider as the Player Queen and Ryan Wetmore as Gravedigger/Voltemand.
