entertainment poem #4

now that I’m stented I use the
treadmill at the Y there are two
screens to alleviate boredom one
atop the other today I could choose
between walking in new zealand
massive rock formations ponds
bosky dells or viewing a cop and
scientist scooping half eaten body
parts yes human from galvanized
troughs of watery slop for hungry
pigs (they must have been shooed
away their jowls adrip I didn’t see
the start) but it transpired the
killer might be a chess expert who
could craftily plot many moves in
advance I didn’t stay for the finale
either but how can hills and skies
compete at least there wasn’t a
political debate rerun and analysis
