More names have been added to the Grandstand lineup for the 2017 Illinois State Fair.
On Thursday, Aug. 10, fairgoers with paid admission to the fair will be treated to a free concert by the legendary rock band Foghat. Best known for their hit songs “I Just Want to Make Love to You” and “Slow Ride,” Foghat has earned eight Gold records, one Platinum record and one Double-Platinum record.
On Saturday, Aug. 12, the a cappella group Pentatonix preforms on the Grandstand stage. The Grammy award-winning group has sold more than six million albums in the United States, and has performed in front of sold-out shows across the globe.
Country music star Brad Paisley returns to the Illinois State Fair Grandstand on Sunday, Aug. 13. A member of the Grand Ole Opry Hall of Fame, Paisley received critical acclaim for his 2005 Illinois State Fair performance, and has since gone on to win numerous Grammy Awards.
