HOLIDAY HAPPENINGS | Seriously scary
The Boo Crew Haunted House ranks on many lists as one of the scariest haunted houses in Illinois. On Saturday, Oct. 21, from 3-6 p.m., the Boo Crew Haunted House will host a children’s matinee where attendees can tour a scaled-back, less-intimidating version of the high-tech haunt where lights will be off, no scare-actors will be present, and all animatronics will be shut off. Admission to the children’s matinee costs $7 per person and includes a free pumpkin, courtesy of Indian Knoll Pumpkin Patch, while supplies last. Those interested in the full haunting experience are encouraged to tour the house at night. Box office hours run from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. nightly, though advance purchase of tickets online is recommended. All tickets include admission to both the haunted house and the “Trail of Lost Souls” attractions.
