This West Virginia native now resides in Nashville, Tennessee, and uses the Music City for a home base to bring his particular style of Americana music to the masses. Lopez recorded his debut album, Onward, with famed producer Dave Cobb of Jason Isbell and Sturgill Simpson success in 2015. His recent offering, Red Arrow, on Blaster Records, was produced by Marshall Altman and features co-writes with Nashville folks and self-penned originals along with musical appearances by the one and only Vince Gill on guitar plus vocal harmonies from Kenneth Pattengale of the Milk Carton Kids. Lopez started out on rock ‘n’ roll before discovering the classic country world when his father gave him records by guys named Waylon, Willie, Kris, Merle and Johnny. He combines the two genres into a special blend of his own as he reaches into his heart for powerful live performances while working his music toward touching the hearts of listeners whenever he plays. You better go see him now at this intimate venue before he hits the big time.
