Enjoy two comedy shows for the price of one on Saturday, March 31. The evening begins at 8 p.m. with a showcase of some of the top comedians in central Illinois followed by the third annual Comedy Central-style roast. The subject of this year’s roast will be Superman, played by Jeff Govednik, who will be grilled by eight characters/comedians: Clark Kent, Cat Woman, Wonder Woman, Wolverine, Jimmy Olsen, Lex Luther, Lois Lane and Batman. This show is rated “R,” and is not appropriate for individuals under 18 years of age. Admission to the Comedy Showcase and Roast of Superman costs $5, cash only, at Mason City Limits Comedy Club.
