Kerasotes summer movie program

Untitled Document Kerasotes is again hosting a summer movie program for kids at ShowPlace East 8, at the Capital City Shopping Center, but there is a change in the way tickets are sold. All tickets will be sold individually at the ShowPlace East 8 box office, beginning May 1, and will not be available by mail. Tickets are $2 each, and seating is limited. The program runs June 19-Aug. 1; each movie will be shown Tuesday and Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. No movie will be shown the week of July 4. JUNE 19 & 20
The Ant Bully (PG) A kid who shoots an ant colony with his water gun is taught a lesson when he is shrunk down to ant size.
JUNE 26 & 27
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (PG) Charlie wins a contest to take a tour through Willy Wonka’s grand chocolate factory.
JULY 10 & 11
Happy Feet (PG) animated feature about a penguin who is unable to sing but does have the ability to dance.
JULY 17 & 18
March of the Penguins (G) The most successful nature film ever made follows emperor penguins as they journey to their breeding ground.
JULY 24 & 25
Racing Stripes (PG) A zebra grows up thinking that he is a horse and dreams of racing against Thoroughbreds.
JULY 31 & AUG. 1
Clifford’s Really Big Movie (G) The big red cartoon dog runs away to join a carnival.
