LET'S TALK TOMLIN
Actress and comedian Lily Tomlin will bring her one-woman show to Sangamon Auditorium in Springfield at 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 13.
In “An Evening With Lily Tomlin,” Tomlin will portray more than a dozen characters onstage, from a six-year-old girl to a disgruntled telephone operator. Following the performance, Tomlin will participate in a question-and-answer session with the audience.
Tomlin earned an Academy Award nomination for her role in the film Nashville, and has starred in 9 to 5 alongside Dolly Parton and Jane Fonda, All of Me with Steve Martin and A Prairie Home Companion alongside Meryl Streep. In recent years, she has appeared on the television shows “Damages” and “Desperate Housewives.”
