Keyboard classics

art7910

Organist Timothy Spelbring plays Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, Webber’s Phantom of the Opera overture and other pieces that lend a seasonal spice to the evening. Spelbring is an accomplished organist and doctoral candidate in organ performance at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also a Yale School of Music and Oberlin Conservatory of Music graduate. Enhancing the mood are electronic lighting effects by light artist Stephen Tankersley and interpretive movement by choreographer Elizabeth Cheney. Attendees are invited to wear all black or all white, and a ghost story will be shared by special guest Abraham Lincoln, portrayed by Fritz Klein.
