Acoustical cuts

art9247

Singer-songwriter Bryan Adams performs an acoustic concert at Sangamon Auditorium, UIS Nov. 1. The tour is named after Adams’ current release Bare Bones, a live acoustic collection of hits from his career including “Cuts Like A Knife,” “Summer of ’69,” “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You,” “Heaven” and others. The Grammy-award-winning musician has been a favorite for three decades. Ranked 38 on the All-time Top Artists by the Billboard Hot 100 50th Anniversary Charts, inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Adams hit number one on the charts seven times and sold more than 65 million albums worldwide. Beloved are his powerful and raw, yet tender, voice; his mixed clean-cut nice-boy image with the bad boy guitar-touting rocker, and his hauntingly beautiful and timeless lyrics and music such as: “Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?” written by Adams, Michael Kamen and R.J. Lange for the film Don Juan DeMarco. Get a preview of what Bryan has in store at www.youtube.com/user/bryanadams.
