From his hometown of Augusta, Ga., Eric Lee Beddingfield has scaled the heights of country music stardom to play on the Grand Ole Opry, plus record with George Jones and Dolly Parton, while sharing the stage with many of the big names in the industry. Originally heading for a career in football when a college injury cut his time in the sport short, Beddingfield then took up playing country music “to fill the void” in his ambitions. He started a band called County Line and put himself through Georgia Southern University while making the group a top regional act. After that auspicious beginning, the extrovert musician moved to Nashville in search of a solo career. Continuing to take the stage and the business by storm, he paired with producer Kent Wells in 2006 to make a record that released three singles to major country radio. Known as a firecracker of a live performer who “knows how to rock the country,” Beddingfield tears down the house night after night wherever he goes.
