Springfield PechaKucha returns for another enlightening evening at Capital City Bar and Grill on Thursday, Feb. 9. A great lineup of locals and presentations includes: Wade Kammin, The Making of an Assistance Dog; Victor Broderick, Brainwashing; Gaines Hall, The Influence of Sound on Design; Andrew Woolbright, Art and the Pharmacy Experiment; Gus Gordon, Ain’t Misbehavin’: How to Put on a Show in Eight Weeks or Less; Peter Exley, Snacks!; Vern LaGesse, Sangamon County; Mike Miller, Freaks and Geeks: Beyond the Stereotypes in Art and Technology; and Bill Waldmire, Get Your Kicks on Route 66. Ticket holders should arrive early for best seating; doors open at 6:20 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased at the door staring at 7 p.m. or reserved by emailing pechakuchaspringfield@gmail.com.
