Eva Hunter

Now residing in Bloomington, the “girl and her acoustic guitar” comes fresh off of a solo swing through Indiana, Kentucky and Georgia for her first Springfield show in awhile. Last July, Eva released another spectacular solo album filled with well-produced, quality songs supported by excellent musicianship from a who’s who of local players that is her working band, plus a few added, very special guests. No Missing Pieces, her third studio recording and fifth overall CD, sonically presents a more raw, bare bones band approach than her last effort, Thirsty, while lyrically reaching toward feelings of discovering the good life rather than dealing with the troubles of finding it. Always emotive and poignant without being coy or aloof, Eva writes a good song and sings one too, with a superb backing group of Ric Major (sound), Bruce Williams (bass), Michael Sullivan (guitar) and Ric Snow (drums). Who could ask for more?
