A musical about fitting in and standing out

Take in a performance of 13, a musical that follows Evan Goldman, a preteen who is forced to move from fast-paced New York City to a sleepy Indiana town following his parents’ divorce. 13 is a story about fitting in and standing out, featuring an unforgettable rock score from Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown and a book by Dan Elish and Robert Horn. The cast of this Springfield Theatre Centre production is composed entirely of teenagers, but features ageless stories, timeless emotions and priceless memories. Admission to 13 costs $18 for students and seniors (over age 60) and $20 for adults. Advance tickets can be purchased online at http://hcfta.org or by calling the Hoogland’s box office at 523-2787.
