Come celebrate 10 years of History Comes Alive this summer. Step into 19th Century America with live performances, storytelling and moving ceremonies from Abraham Lincoln and a huge cast of historical characters. It’s a trip to the past you won’t want to miss.

Learn more about a man who would become one of the most beloved presidents in American history. You’ll hear Abraham Lincoln as he delivers his famous Gettysburg Address and his farewell address at the Lincoln Depot. You may even see him in the backyard of his home with his wife, Mary Todd, making for a perfect Instagram photo opportunity.

Our 2019 season will be the best ever with activities happening seven days a week—most are free. Complete schedule available at VisitSpringfieldIllinois.com.
