Illinois State Museum

A feature of the Illinois State Museum’s summer program is a series of five search activities which will enable families to have a fuller experience of the exhibits in which they are interested. A new search will be available every two weeks throughout the summer. Once each search is completed, children will receive a stamp for their passport and a drawing entry for a prize. Prizes include lunch at Café Moxo and two water park passes to Knight’s Action Park. The children can also take their passport book to Café Moxo and get a free cookie. The passports are full when all five searches are completed. The program is underway and runs through Aug. 4. Museum admission is $5 for adults ages 19-64 and is free for museum members, military personnel and veterans. The Summer Passport Series is free with museum admission. More information is available by calling 217-782-6044 or visiting ilinoisstatemuseum.org.
