Ani-mall Pet Expo and Mega Adoption is being held at the Expo Building within the Illinois State Fairgrounds Saturday, March 30. This is a packed four-hour event with adoptions by the Animal Protective League, vendors with pet-related products and services, contests for owners and their animal friends, a Children’s Fun Zone with three bounce houses, storytelling, coloring, alpacas from Alpacas of Indian Hills Farm, photos by Unland Productions, demos by organizations such as Sangamon County Search and Rescue and American Red Cross, microchipping and APL goodie bags to the first 500. Sponsored by WNNS FM, WMAY FM, WQLZ FM, ALICE FM and Ridings Autogroup. Well-behaved pets on leases are welcome.
