2024 Mid-America Emergency Symposium

Session will focus on preparing hospital medical staff and first responders on the All-Hazards Threat Model faced in field and hospital settings. Participants will learn how to develop situational awareness and survive natural disasters, active shooter situations and/or weapons of mass destruction attacks. The goal is to define the ever-changing field of emergency management and its solutions to help keep staff safe. The SIU School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.0 AMA PRA Category 1 credits. All other attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.
