Sam Bush, an American mandolinist, is considered an originator of progressive bluegrass music. In 2020, he was inducted into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame. ClusterPluck will open. The band mixes bluegrass, folk, rock, jam and country into a hearty sonic stew. 21+ show, those 16-20 must be accompanied by parent. Gates open at 5pm. No outside food or beverages allowed. On August 21, 1912, the first Chautauqua took place at Nichols Park. The big tent went up, music played, speeches and lectures took place on a wooden stage. For a whole week, hundreds of people came to see and experience the show while camping on the grounds. We are bringing back tradition. The theme this year is “Community ...
