Illinois Times has been chosen as a Report for America newsroom for 2025.
That means we will be able to add another full-time reporter to our staff, beginning in July. This is a two-year assignment and we need to raise $35,000 by July 7 to cover our portion of this new position. The rest is underwritten through a Report for America grant.
